Therapy is a lot of things, but first, and perhaps most importantly, it is a safe relationship.
It is within this framework of safety and connection that we are able to turn toward all of the dark spaces within and bring curiosity, warmth, and acceptance to what we find there.
Together we explore the feelings, fears, and beliefs that are leaving you feeling caught in distress, overwhelm, and loneliness. By gently bringing these experiences into the room, you are able to develop insight, agency, and the capacity for choice over different perspectives, behaviours, or reactions.
This type of work not only offers to relieve day-to-day distress, but offers the possibility of a fundamental change in how one feels about oneself, others, and one’s place in the world.
